Nikko Toshogu Shrine
This shrine enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of the Edo shogunate. The most famous of the World Heritage Site "Shrines and Temples of Nikko" is Nikko Toshogu Shrine. There are 55 buildings, including 34 Important Cultural Properties, and their gorgeous beauty is overwhelming.

Lake Chuzenji
Lake Chuzenji, located at the entrance to Oku-Nikko, is 1,269 meters above sea level and is one of the highest lakes in Japan.
